A Calming Effect
I recently photographed this gorgeous new kitchen designed and styled by Amy at Young & Ryan (@youngandryan on Instagram). This newly renovated kitchen is in the home of the lovely Celeste, one of the owners of Natural Supply Co here in Geelong. I just love how calm this kitchen made me feel when I was in it. The gorgeous green cabinets and the pink Perini tiles just go so perfectly together. There are so many thoughtful items throughout this kitchen, the hidden fridge, the floor to ceiling cupboards make for plenty of room when you don't have the space to put in a walk in pantry. It's hard to believe that this kitchen used to be black on black on black.
Sometimes it's easy to play it safe when it comes to a kitchen, often we get worried that we will get sick of the colour, or it won't appeal to future buyers. But, I love when I see people just embrace what they love and go for it, especially when the results are as gorgeous as this. I'm excited to see the results of their future upcoming projects (I hear bathrooms are next on the list) And if you are wondering, yes, I did have a piece of the delicious cake after we had finished up with the shoot!
